What a great time!
Oh, how I LOVE the Stevenson Public Library!
And I blame it all on Christie.
Christie Pierce is the Director of the Stevenson Public Library in Stevenson, Alabama and she has turned a 1960s-era bank into a booklover’s paradise. It’s so warm and inviting and always improving. She has big plans for the little place, so get in there and check it all out. The more people who come to the library, the more money the gov’t gives them to improve… so go visit!
They have a wonderful sitting area in front of the fireplace and a HUGE children’s area in the back.
And, don’t tell anyone, but behind one of the bookshelves is the old bank vault! (I tried to talk Christie into turning it into a gamers room) ;)
I’ve been doing readings since July of 2022 and Stevenson Public Library just smashed the record for copies of I know in my Heart sold at a single reading! We sold and signed 15 copies and donated one copy to the library for their own inventory. What a great day!
If you missed the reading this time around, we’re doing it again in the summer, so keep checking in with Christie at the Library or here on the website.
Thanks for visiting!
